Your guild still don’t have Immortal? Then you need to hurry. With Ulduar – the next raid instance in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - coming soon time is running short! Now I will reveal you a few tips and tricks which will help you to achieve this!
Deathknight/Holy Priest exploit
This exploit will only work on Deathknights with Ghoul Reincarnation and Holy Priests with Divine Spirit (that think which turns the Priest into an “Angel” when he dies).
The trick is quite simple, if one of the two classes (and the correct spec!!!) dies, all they need to do is to hit Alt+F4 as quickly as possible and the raid leader needs to kick them out of the raid, as quickly as possible! If done in a timely manner, their death won’t be counted after their Ghoul/Divine Spirit fades away!
Reset Immortal/Undying
You’ve read correctly! Under certain circumstances, it’s possible to reset the Achievement if someone died during a boss fight.
However, this only works if people died on the first boss. For this reason, you should always start with one of the harder wings, like with the Deathknight Wing and Instructor Razuvious! While he’s not really hard boss, there are some things which could go wrong and he’s definitely the hardest one of the first wing bosses.
So if someone dies (i.e. due to mind control loss or whatever), everyone wipes and release your spirit. Once you spawn at the graveyard, wait there! Now the raid leader has to disband the raid and someone other (an officer or co-leader) invites the people and everyone goes in. Now the instance is reset and you have a second chance to fight against the first boss in Naxxramas for your Immortal Achievement.
The reason why this works is simple: As long no boss is down, you’re not saved. When you create a new group (with a new leader) and enter the instance, you get a new ID (one no one died). This doesn’t work if you already killed a boss!!!!
Note: All of the tips also work for Undying!
